so, it's been a while again (again)...but i think i'm just about ready to get back to (semi) semi-regular blogging.
why now?
i suppose in part because after the events of the past 9 months, i'm finally starting to get back into the groove of writing...and thus, obviously, i need to have as many options for procrastination at my disposal as possible.
and i suppose i also didn't like the idea of stopping this blog with the eulogy i wrote for my mom and my subsequent how am i doing 1 month later post.
my mom's death wasn't the end of my life and i didn't want it to be the end of my blog (of course on some level it was a fitting hiatus...but eventually life and blogging must go on).
that said, i've decided that i'm going to be making the (very late to the party) move over to tumblr. my plan as of the moment is to use tumblr for the day to day, the minutiae of my life if you will, and then occasionally put longer posts up here (essays and the like).
